WITNESS
What would you do if you saw someone sitting next to a swimming pool while a child was drowning, and they were doing nothing? Or if you knew there was a family trapped inside a burning building and the firemen were just sitting in the truck listening to music? You would be horrified! Every day there are thousands, if not millions who are in the same predicament. They are walking in a darkness so blinding, they can’t see the eminent danger they are facing when they die and have to stand in judgment before a Holy God.
Psalm 19:7 says, “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.” God’s law, the Ten Commandments, are the standard by which we will all be judged on the Day of Wrath. It is the law that acts as a “schoolmaster to bring us to Christ.” Galatians 3:24 It convicts our hearts and shows us our need for a Savior. He bible says that “all liars will have their part in the lake of fire” Rev 21:8 and that “no thieves….shall inherit the kingdom of God.” [...]

TRUE REPENTANCE

TRUE REPENTANCE Are you absolutely sure that you will escape the wrath of God on Judgment Day? Your eternal destiny is the most important thing in the world. Jesus said, "For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Mark 8:36-37). Jesus warned, "Unless you repent you will all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3, 5). The only way to escape the wrath of God is by genuine repentance. What then is true repentance?
THE FOUNDATION OF TRUE REPENTANCE
1. Face your wickedness. Your sin has separated you from God. "But your iniquities have separated you from your God" (Isaiah 59:2). "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you" (Luke 15:18). You personally have broken the laws of God intentionally, repeatedly and without remorse. You have lied. You have stolen. You have been sexually immoral in your heart.
